Our 6AM Wakeup Call!!!

That's right everyone, Alli has went from sleeping in till at least 8 everyday to waking at 6-6:30 every morning. Ugh!! Guess we won't be those envied parents with the great sleepers anymore. Either that or we will need to put her to bed later at night. Anyways, the pics here are her at 6 AM turning on her lights. Pretty smart using the learning chair for a boost might I add!!

Memorial Day Weekend

Lucky for us, my parents came down to spend Memorial Day weekend with us, so we didn't get completely bored like we usually are. We all went to Nashville Indiana for a day and did some shopping in the old time town. Garrett was especially fond of the train-trolly and the "ning-ning" at the station. (See Pics Below) Other than that we just kinda spent our days relaxing and having fun, and grilling out. We even planned our next fun weekend to watch the old car cruise in my hometown and go to a train museum that gives rides on old steam trains. Garrett is already excited. I am soooo glad summer is here already, I really needed the extra activities to get me going, and plenty of things to write about! Till then......

Talking in His Sleep

When I went to check on Garrett last night, he was starting to fall out of bed. I put him back in the middle of the bed and he didn't wake or open his eyes. He did however mumble "Cars, cars, cars....." as I rolled him. I think Community Day had a profound effect on him!!!!

Community Day 2008!!! Part 1

Today was Community Day at Indianapolis Motor Speedway!!! As Ususal I took all my Dougherty Boys out and Alli too. We got to drive a lap around the track in our car (minivan) and then walk around pit row and the garages. We wanted to go to the autograph session to meet Tony Kanaan, but pictures were not allowed in autograph sessions, so we passed on the 2 hour wait. It didn't matter though, because we got to see Tony anyways in the Andretti Green interview hour, and Marco Andretti even waived to Garrett!! We were so close up!! Here are a few shots of the day.....

The Weird Leg Thing

Soooo I have recently noticed (within the last month) a weird indentation in my quad. It is a 4-5 inch mark that looks like I have been leaning against a counter too long. It has started hurting on and off too, primarily when I work out and run. Upon googling it, one woman with similar symptoms (also a runner) found it was a torn muscle in need of surgical repair. Others have said the same thing, while some say its a strain, and some say its nothing. Anyone have any insight here? As long as I'm not dying, I'm ok with a retarded looking leg; I just don't want to have to give up working out!!! Argh!!

Wagon Rides

Last weekend, after a long day of hosting a garage sale, Greg's mom decided to take the kids for a lil red wagon ride. Garrett was a little scared of the uphill feeling in the front yard (the pictures don't do the incline justice), but he was better on the sidewalk. Alli was quite chillaxed and has even big brother wrapped, can't ya tell?
