Hesston's Steam Museum

What a better whay to start a vacation then with a trip to Hesston! The steam museum was a must for me at least once every summer growing up in the booming metropolis of Rolling Prairie, Indiana!! It has since become something Garrett really looks forward to in the summer. He asks to "go ride Grandpa Beatty's trains."

The weekend we were up happened to be the annual Civil War days. They did mock fights when we were on the trian ride. They had camp set up at the station, and even an Honest Abe lookalike. (Which might I add that Garrett was scared to death of him!!!) Alli didn't like the loud noises and kept her ears covered most of the time, but Garrett really dug it! I also got to see the parents of a girl I went to high school with while we were there, so it was nice to catch up with them! Here's the pics..... hope you enjoy......
